General Rules:
    Twenty [20] Silver Ticket Qualifiers will be selected PER VENUE over the course of the eight week qualifying period to compete for the title of that venue's Local Champion. Contestants may enter for FREE at any participating venue on any of their qualifying rounds held on their respective karaoke night starting the week of January 6th, 2019. Contestants may enter at multiple venues and may win qualifying Silver Tickets for each venue, however each Silver Ticket will only be accepted for the Local Championship at the venue where it was won. Only one Golden Ticket will be allowed per person. Full venue list will be published on or before January 1st, 2019.

    Each of the participating Qualifier Venues will receive ONE Golden Ticket. Starting the week of January 6th, 2019 they will each host weekly qualifying rounds for eight weeks to determine their venue's Local Champion. At each qualifying round per week - two qualifiers will receive Silver Tickets to the venue's Local Championship to be held on week nine. 4 wild-card Silver Ticket slots will also be available at the venue's discretion over the course of the qualifying period for a total 20 Local Qualifiers per venue. The 20 finalists from each venue will then compete in the week nine Local Championship for that venue's Golden Ticket and the title of Local Champion!

    Sixteen [16] Local Champions from the Greater Michigan Area will be invited to the Karaoke Red Carpet Tournament Of Champions Grand Finals held on March 16th, 2019 at the beautiful Buick City Event Center and will walk the red carpet with full V.I.P. treatment, which includes a hotel stay, limousine chauffeur service to/from the event and catering at the contest. The sixteen Local Champions will compete for the title of Michigan's Finest Karaoke Performer with a cash prize of $2,000! Second Place Local Champion will receive $500 and each of the remaining Local Champions will receive $50 each.

    Finals will be judged SOLELY by their fellow contestants. A scoring sheet for each finalist will be provided and scores will be compiled accordingly. Outside judges may provide feedback, but winners are to be determined solely by the scoring of their fellow finalists. Any finalists caught manipulating the scoring sheet will be removed from the contest, and their scores will not count toward judging.
